Do I need a partner?

No. The academy is built so you can take solo classes at home and improve by yourself at all times. You can also take plenty of classes with a partner — your choice. We’re ready for both.

I’m a complete beginner — is this for me?

Yes. There’s a clear beginner path with no assumed knowledge. You won’t be thrown into advanced material.

I’m not a complete beginner — is this for me?

Yes. There are classes targeted for all levels — from zero, beginners and intermediate, to advanced, teachers and professionals.

How much time do I need each week?

20 focused minutes, 3 times a week, is enough to feel real progress. More is great. Less is fine — your account doesn’t expire.

Can I pause or cancel?

Yes — you can cancel your subscription at any moment. It’s built to adapt to your timings, so no risk and no worries.

What is “Feedback Tuesday”?

Every Tuesday you can send Felipe or Tiago a short video of what you’re working on. They reply over WhatsApp with personal feedback — not a chatbot, not a forum.

What does “gender-free” mean?

Lead and follow are roles, not genders. Anyone can learn either — or both. Many of our students learn both roles and become much better dancers because of it.

Dive deeper into the structure behind RoleRotation. Here, we explore techniques, body awareness, and how to use intention and connection while rotating. These theory-focused classes will improve your understanding of how and why RoleRotation works in partnered social dances, in this case, bachata.

Creative Variations and Moves

Intermediate Level Rolerotation: Transitions in the rotations are smoother. And dancers are not afraid of not finishing moves. You may still need to fix the timing, but the level in both roles is close to equal.

This section builds on your basics and opens space for creativity. You’ll learn new ways of giving and stealing the lead and recognizing new moments and opportunities to rotate in the middle of a dance. Ideal for dancers ready to co-create movement in more fluid ways.

Precision, Subtlety, and Musical Mastery

Advanced: Rotations are almost invisible to the eye. For advanced dancers in both roles it’s more about connection and reaching the next level, sometimes even finishing the other person’s moves. Giving the lead in a way only the other person feels and timing is fixed on the way, no need for extra counts.
