What is the focus of this session?

How can you practise making the combination leadable?

Choose a short section with a clear entry and exit. Agree on roles and the task with your practice partner, then concentrate on communicating each transition. Ask about one concrete moment: whether the preparation was understandable or whether the next action became clear at the intended time.

Once that section is familiar, practise beginning it from a comfortable basic at an agreed point in your dance. Keep the task manageable and return to the demonstration whenever the connection between actions needs clarification. The practical goal is a sequence both people can understand through leading and following.

Revisit the same section from the other role in a separate attempt when both people want to. Give the newer perspective enough time. If role rotation becomes a practice goal, agree on a specific transition between roles and study that task separately.
